The Sunshine Mitre 10 Annual Trade Expo is one of Australia’s premier hardware and building industry events, with a legacy spanning over 20 years. As the event grew, it moved from the Wandiny Room to the expansive Sunshine Coast Convention Centre at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, now welcoming over 1,000 attendees including builders, suppliers, and staff.
In 2025, the Trade Expo took place on 2 April, following an exclusive awards dinner on 1 April. The event brought together more than 1,100 professionals for two dynamic days of networking, learning, and innovation. Attendees explored new products, engaged in industry discussions, and connected with more than 70 exhibitors showcasing the latest in building and hardware solutions.

The Sunshine Coast Convention Centre delivered a seamless experience across the entire event footprint. The dedicated venue team ensured smooth execution from setup to pack-down, while the AV team provided flawless technical support. From the first impression to the final toast, every detail was carefully considered.
The food and beverage service received glowing feedback—especially the roast carvery, which became a talking point among attendees. Service staff across the venue, including the ever-popular Sola Bar, were acknowledged for their professionalism, warmth, and consistency.
