WasteMaster’s introduction addresses the hospitality industry’s food waste challenges, particularly crucial for establishments like restaurants and banquet facilities catering to diverse guest needs. The technology efficiently manages food waste while minimising environmental impact by diverting it from landfills and producing compost-like residual material. Our adoption of WasteMaster underscores our commitment to embracing innovative solutions that promote sustainability and environmental stewardship, setting a commendable example for the industry.

Sunshine Coast Convention Centre prioritises accessibility with ground-floor accessible rooms and bathrooms. Guests can easily navigate the Centre and Resort using an accessible golf buggy, and all facilities, plus we have the addition of ramps and wide walkways.
Local Produce
The Sunshine Coast Convention Centre and Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort are dedicated to providing healthy, high-quality meals using locally sourced products. Menus are seasonally tailored, and overfished species are banned to support sustainability. We prioritise sourcing fresh produce locally to reduce food waste and support the local agriculture network.
